About the Masters: This husband and wife team has written the books Why Hasn’t He Called? How Guys Really Think and How to Get the Right One Interested in You and Why Hasn’t He Proposed? Go From The First Date To Setting The Date. They host a syndicated weekly segment for Better TV, called “Ask Matt and Tamsen” … contribute regularly to Glamour, The Huffington Post, Elle, Life & Style, New York Daily News, NY Post, and many others … and Matt is regularly seen on several morning shows, and is Cosmo’s “Love Doctor”! They are frank and funny, and cut right to the point.
Tip: “Keep the male psyche in mind when thinking about wedding planning. Men aren’t really interested in dresses and flowers. So the groom doesn’t really need to make a lot of decisions; he just needs to be present. First rule of thumb: Assume you’ll do 80% of the planning, and will bring the groom into it only when you’ve narrowed down the choices. Second rule of thumb: When you have a big decision to make (e.g., the venue, the band) boil it down to three choices, and only then ask him for his opinion.”
